The study of bioengineering at the University of Utah began in the academic year 1964-1965 with the establishment of the Department of Biophysics and Bioengineering in the College of Engineering. In 1973, the Department was split into the Department of Medical Biophysics and Computing in the College of Medicine and the Department of Bioengineering in the College of Engineering. This collection contains budgets, correpondence, minutes, and reports.
