A. (Albin) Walter Norblad, Jr. (1908-1964), was born in Escanaba, Delta County, Michigan in 1908 and moved with his parents to Astoria, Oregon that same year. He attended Astoria public schools and the New Mexico Military Academy at Roswell. He graduated from the University of Oregon at Eugene in 1932. His father, Albin Walter Norblad, Sr. served as Governor of Oregon from 1929 to 1931. Norblad, Jr. was admitted to the bar in 1932 and subsequently practiced law in Astoria. He was el...
