Frank Bonds, born in Texas in 1890, was the first child of Jesse and Mary Bonds, and the brother to Mary, Fred and Lorene. The Bonds family moved to Bellingham, Wash., in 1899 and to Sumas in 1902. Frank Bonds attended Linfield College in McMinnville, Or., as well as the University of Washington. His youngest sister, Lorene, married Lawrence J.
