Typed research notes prepared by Nancy Love covering the period between 1878 and 1952 are based on Elsie Bronson's manuscript ("RISD: A Half-Century Record, 1878-1928," 1932) as well as catalogues, yearbooks, correspondence, and corporate/administrative records. Narrative reports provide information about the development of Departments, Divisions, and Administrative offices, 1945-1950. The materials in this collection were gathered in preparation for the RISD's 75th Anniversary.
