Paul Schumaker is a Professor and Chairman of the Department of Political Science. He was first appointed to the University of Kansas in 1972 as an Assistant Professor. Schumaker received the Recipient of "Best Paper" Award by the Missouri-Kansas Political Science Association in 1975. Schumaker's list of research and teaching interests include political theory, public policy, and community politics. Schumaker authored in 1995 and co-edited in 2002. The Personal Papers of Paul Schumaker include raw data, research into Lawrence issues, manuscripts, correspondence, student papers, grant proposals, and seminar papers.
