Letter from Edward Clive Powis to David Scot: Yes; Capt. and Mrs Salmond arrived on 12 April; "Mrs Salmond is looking in great Beauty"; we are pleased that Capt. Salmond is made aide-de-camp to Lord Mornington, although they're leaving for Bengal immediately. The news from Europe is good; not so here. We hope to take Serangapatam soon.
