R. P. Beauchamp letter 1832

A letter, dated 31 Oct 1832, from R. P. Beauchamp, Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, to his son, John Arthur Beauchamp in St. Louis Missouri. Besides sharing family news, R. P. Beauchamp urges his son to take special care because of the cholera epidemic developing in St. Louis.

R. P. Beauchamp was the 3rd postmaster of the post office at Fort Leavenworth circa 1830.
