Foster G. McGaw, founder of the American Hospital Supply Corporation, was an entrepreneur and philanthropist whose generosity to Northwestern University enhanced both the Evanston and Chicago campuses. His close relationship with the university resulted from the proximity of his corporate headquarters in Evanston to Northwestern. The American Hospital Supply Corporation was for decades the major supplier of health care products in the United States. Filling twenty-one boxes, this series dates between 1928 and 1986. Included are a variety of product catalogs from American Hospital Supply Corporation and from subsidiaries.
