Anne Fischer was born on August 12, 1902 in Stuttgart. She was the daughter of the physician Bernard Rosenberg and his wife Hedwig Rosenberg née Lerchenthal, and she had an older brother, Eric. Anne Fischer married the physician Ernst Fischer, and they had two children: George and Eva.
