Thomas Spencer Monson (born 1927) was called as an Apostle in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1963. He began work with the Deseret News in 1948. In that organization he served as an advertising executive and later Sales Manager of the Deseret News Press. Daniel H. Ludlow was born on March 17, 1924 and died February 14, 2009. Ludlow was the former director of the Correlation Department of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, a faculty member at Brigham Young University, and the editor of the Encyclopedia of Mormonism.
