Making of the film "Legacy" was inspired by the refurbishment of the Hotel Utah into the Joseph Smith Memorial Buildling, initiated by Gordon B. Hinckley. The new building was dedicated on 27 June 1993, and "Legacy" premiered on July 3. When "Testaments" premiered 24 March 2000 in the cinema, the theater was renamed the "Legacy Theater."
