Rosen, Morris, 1896-1962

Morris Rosen (1896-1962), the son of Russian immigrants (his father was an anarchist shoemaker), became a carpenter and in the 1920s he joined Local 376 of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners (New York, N.Y.), and in December 1925 was elected its business agent. He was also National Secretary of the Building Trades Section of the Communist-associated Trade Union Educational League.
