The Mount Holyoke College chapter of Second Amendment Sisters was founded by Christie Caywood, Class of 2003 in September of 2001. The group was the first college chapter of Second Amendment Sisters, Inc. an organization established in 1999 to educate people about self-defense and advocate for Second Amendment rights (the Constitutional right to keep and bear arms).
