Supreme Court Abstracts and briefs (printed) 1888-

This series is composed of abstracts and briefs filed by attorneys arguing cases before the Supreme Court. Abstracts are summaries or excerpts from the records of the court which originally heard a case which has been subsequently appealed to the Supreme Court. Briefs are written arguments of the attorneys and include references to the legal authorities, such as previous court decisions, statutes, etc., on which the attorney is basing his argument.
