Brooke Hayward collection of noncommercial recordings

Collection consists of recorded interviews, conducted by Brooke Hayward prior to the publication of her memoir titled Haywire in 1977. Interviewees generally speak about their memories of the Hayward family including Hayward's father Leland, and her mother Margaret Sullavan. Personalities interviewed include Truman Capote, Beverly Wood, Henry, Jane, and Peter Fonda, Jimmy Stewart, Slim Hawks, and Willie Wyler, among others (see individual catalog records for complete list).
