The Gena Branscombe collection contains noncommercial recordings primarily of radio broadcasts made by the Branscombe Choral from 1935-1954, and of works by Gena Branscombe performed by other choral groups, soloists, and instrumentalists. Among the Branscombe Choral broadcasts are a number of works by American composers, including many of Branscombe's own choral arrangements and compositions, many of them first radio performances.
