Guido Bruno was a writer, editor, and bookseller known for publishing a number of avant-garde works. Born in Bohemia and educated in several European cities, he emigrated to America in 1906 as a newspaper correspondent. He continued to work as a correspondent, drama critic, editorial writer, and war correspondent, before becoming the editor of numerous literary magazines.
