Bird family letters 1833-1967

Eight miscellaneous letters of the Bird family of East Walpole, Mass., including a letter from F.W. Bird (1809-1894) to his fiancée Rebecca H. Cooke, 1833, and two to Bird, 1847 and 1851, concerning local organizations; three letters to Charles S. Bird, 1910, 1914, and 1942, written from Mexico, Rhodesia and Istanbul, respectively, concerning personal affairs and current events, and one by him, 1917; and a brief letter to Charles Sumner Bird, 1967 from British historian Sir Arthur Bryant.
