Isaiah Townsend diary 1840-1841

Diary belonging to Isaiah Townsend of Albany, NY., Nov. 26 1840-Feb. 18, 1841. Describes a voyage on board the sailing ship Roscius from New York to Liverpool, thence through England, France, and Italy, with descriptions of his fellow voyagers, places visited, etc. Mr. and Mrs. Erastus Corning, Mr. and Mrs. Ives, and Rev. and Mrs. Paige were passengers on the ship.
