Raphael Patai papers 1937-1999 1975-1995

Raphael Patai (1910-1996) was a prominent cultural anthropologist and authority on Jewish cultures around the world. The papers,1903-1999, document Patai's career through extensive correspondence with colleagues, drafts and manuscripts of his many publications, lecture, research notes, photographs, scrapbooks, and sound recordings. The collection also includes correspondence and writings of his father, Jozsef Patai.
