John Rice Arnold was a farmer who lived in Providence County, Rhode Island. Collection consists of a ledger which contains an inventory of the estate of John Rice Arnold. The ledger which was kept by James and William Rhodes, administrators of the estate, lists the goods and chattels belonging to the deceased, and records their sale giving the names of purchasers and amounts paid. Also included are accounts of a farm belonging to the Arnold estate.
