Ted Shawn papers 1913-1982 1940-1972

Ted Shawn was the father of American Dance. He established the Denishawn Dancers with wife Ruth St. Denis, founded and toured with the Men Dancers, and established the Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival and the University of the Dance in the Berkshires of Massachusetts.
