Per Jacobsson, 1894-1963, was born in Tanum, Sweden, and educated at the High School, Vaesteraas and Upsala University. He left to take up a lectureship in Economics at the High School of Forestry in Stockholm, 1918-1920. He left teaching to become a member of the Economic and Financial Section of the Secretariat of the League of Nations in 1920, a post that he held until 1928.
