Leonard Jenyns (1800-1893) changed his name to Leonard Blomefield in 1871. He studied at St John's College, University of Cambridge 1818-1822. He set up the Museum of the Cambridge Philosophical Society together with John Stevens Henslow. He was vicar first at Swaffham Bulbeck (1827-1852), afterwards in Bath. He was the author of the volume on the fishes in 'The Zoology of the Voyage of H.M.S. Beagle during the years 1832-1836'. From the guide to the Fishes Collected by Darwin, 1842,...
