Margot Fonteyn (1919-1991) was an English ballerina. She spent her entire career as a dancer with the Royal Ballet (formerly the Sadler's Wells Theatre Company), eventually being appointed prima ballerina assoluta of the company by Queen Elizabeth II. She was born Margaret Evelyn Hookham on May 18, 1919, to Felix John Hookham and Hilda Acheseon Fontes. Dancer, choreographer, and actor. Robert Helpmann was born in South Australia in 1909, and died at the age of 77 in 1986. He danced with Anna Pavlova during her Australian tour in 1926 before joining J.C. Williamson's company. He was premier danseur with Sadler's Wells 1933-1950. He produced several ballets, choreographed the ballet "Red Shoes", and created "The Display" for the Australian Ballet. He was artistic director of the Australian Ballet from 1965 to 1976.
