T. Rowland Hughes, 1903-1949 was a poet and a novelist. He was born in Llanberis, Caernarfonshire and studied English at the University College of North Wales during the early 1920apos;s. In 1937 and 1940 he won the Chair at the National Eisteddfod for his poetical works and amongst his novels are O Law i Law, 1943, William Jones, 1944 and Chwalfa, 1946. From the guide to the T.
