Louisa Dorothea Stanley was born in 1800, daughter of John Thomas Stanley (1766-1850), seventh baronet and later first Baron Stanley of Alderley. In October 1826, her sister Isabella Louisa married the Arctic explorer, William Edward Parry. She died in 1877.
