Betty Wixon (1907-19850) née Davidsohn, was the daughter of Jewish parents, Michael (c1869-1942) and Roschen (née Kauffmann, 1866-1942) Davidsohn. Betty was born and grew up in Berlin, the youngest of two sisters and one brother. The girls were taught dress making and worked from home whilst the son Emile went on to further education in engineering.
