The Inland Revenue Staff Federation (IRSF) was formed in 1936 by the amalgamation of the Association of Officers of Taxes (AOT; formed in 1892 as the Association of Tax Clerks and renamed in 1922), the National Association of Assessors and Collectors of Taxes (formed in 1904) and the Valuation Office Clerical Association (VOCA; formed in 1919).
