Peter Parham was born at Swanton Morley, Norfolk, and educated at Swanton Morley, Mattishall and Norwich. He was admitted a pensioner at Gonville and Caius College, Cambridge, in 1653, aged 17 (B.A., 1657; M.A., 1660; M.D., 1679), and was a Fellow, 1659-1679. Parham practised medicine in Norwich.
