Series consists of slides, audiotapes, and 2 narrator's scripts that were used in presentations created by the Archives of Ontario, which were shown to the public, and in some instances, as orientation to Archives' staff. Also included in the series are rough notes that indicate slides removed from the original presentations and a rough list of slides incorporated into the Horwood presentation. Topics of the presentations include '[A] Tour of the Archives [of Ontario]', 'Introduction to [the] Archives [of Ontario]', 'Genealogy', 'Simcoe Sketches' (the sketches of Elizabeth Simcoe, wife of John Graves Simcoe, the first Lieutenant Governor of Upper Canada), the 'Welland Canal', the 'Horwood Collection' (architectural drawings and other materials generated or accumulated by J.C.B. and E.C. Horwood during their training and practice as architects) and 'The Ballad of Steep Rock Iron' (depicting mining operations of the Steep Rock Iron Mines Limited).
