Series consists of files pertaining to the involvement of the Records Services Branch with the Systems and Data Processing Council which was responsible for the management of government of Ontario computer systems. Series documents the work of the council and its committees and the Council's participation in the Administrative Data Processing Study of the Committee on Government Productivity (1971). Files include correspondence between the Records Services Branch and Council members, minutes of meetings of the Council and its committees, reports, and documentation on the Council, the Administrative Data Processing Study, and the development of computer systems.
