Wapato Irrigation Project Photographs, ca. 1910–ca. 1970

This series contains photographs for the Wapato Irrigation Project on the Yakima reservation. This series provides visual documentation of agricultural practices, floods, irrigation projects and personnel connected to the Wapato Irrigation Project. Additional photographs, circa 1910 and 1911, include water projects for the Nisqually, Colville, Tulalip and Makah tribes. Physical structures on the irrigation projects depicted include dams, canals, ditches and headgates. Also included for the Wapato Irrigation Project are maintenance images of weed clearing and repairs from flood damage.
