Subjects include air traffic control, the Federal Aviation Administration and North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) responses to the hijackings and attacks, authority for the shoot down of hijacked aircraft, Department of Defense responsiveness to Commission requests, NORAD exercises, and the closure and reopening of the stock market.
