This series consists of estimates of supplies used. The records provide information on equipment and supplies furnished by Indian warehouses. The items include Form 5-090 used for a number of items including groceries, dry goods, clothes, home goods and appliances, agricultural equipment, saddles and tack for horses and wagons, windows and glass, kitchen equipment, hardware, medical supplies, school books, fuel and other supplies. Each form provides information on the quantity of each item furnished during the previous fiscal year; the quantity on hand; the quantity required during the coming fiscal year; a list of the needed items; the estimated price of each item; the estimated total cost; and remarks.

Hayward Boarding School

The Hayward Indian School in Hawyward, Wisconsin, was opened in 1901 as a boarding school for the Chippewa of the Lac Courte Oreille Reservation. It was subordinate to the La Pointe Agency until 1904. About 1911 it was given agency duties for the reservation.
