This series consists of lists of students. The records include an undated list of Arikara students attending school, that provides information on the names of the students and their parents. The records include a list of children attending a mission school, dated 1893, that provides information the English and Indian names, sex, and ages of the students, and the names and tribal affiliations of their parents. The records include a list of students attending Wahpeton Indian School and Bismarck Indian school, dated 1909, that provides information on the names and ages of the students, and the names, residential districts, and tribal affiliations of their parents. The list also provides information on orphans who were entitled to Indian land allotments; each entry includes the name and age of the orphan, the relationship to the head of his or her family, and occasionally the corresponding allotment number. The records include descriptive statements of children, submitted on standard form 5-138, and dated 1893, 1895, 1897, 1898, and 1899. The forms provide information on students from the Fort Berthold Indian Reservation who were attending Santee Normal Training School, Hampton Institute, and Carlisle Indian School. The information provided in each entry includes the student's Indian and English names; the degree of Indian blood; the tribal affiliation; the father's name; whether the parents were living or dead; the sex and the age of the student; the height, weight, and chest measurement of the student; and remarks. The records include a register of students attending Browning Boarding School from 1895 to 1904. The information provided in each entry includes the student's Indian and English names; the tribe; the year of birth; the name of the parent or guardian; the date the student entered the school; and a list of previous schools the student attended. The register also includes a list of arrivals and departures of students, providing information on the dates, the names of the students, and remarks. The records include a school register dated 1901-1902, which provides information on the names and ages of the students, and a record of daily school attendance. The records include a list of students dated November 24, 1919. The records include a list of arrivals and departures of students from 1890 to 1893.
