This series consists of an Individual Indian Money Ledger for members of the Pipestone Communities. Ledger sheets were maintained on each individual and show the date and amounts posted to or transferred from, along with the account balance. Indicated across the top of the ledger sheet for each individual are name and birth year. Some ledger sheets indicate the type of account: student loan, reimbursable account, revolving credit, tribal income, etc. A student deposit sheet, indicating debits and credits from student accounts, is also kept within the ledger. Prior to October 1947 the ledger was maintained on Form 5-317A. On October 31, 1947 all sheets were noted with a transfer of balance to Form No. 5-796, which was utilized through 1951.
