MSA 829:16 contains a copy of Agathe von Trapp's obituary from the Baltimore Sun, dated 30 December 2010, plus the program from her life celebration on 12 March 2011. MSA 829:17 includes typescript memories of Agathe's mother and brother Rupert, information about the ship Normandie on which the family traveled in 1939, and a card from the White House celebrating Agathe's 80th birthday. MSA 829:18 includes three photographs of Ms. Trapp in 2007; eight Polaroid photos of Ms.Trapp, her artwork and outdoor scenery; a photocopy of a photograph of the Trapp Family Singers and a color photocopy of a 1919 photograph of Ms. Trapp's great grandmother on her 90th Birthday. MSA 829:19 includes copies of four different paintings by Agathe von Trapp, two of flowers and two of scenery, plus an original painting entitled Staircase and Flag.

Georg von Trapp (4 April 1880 – 30 May 1947) was an officer in the Austro-Hungarian Navy who later became the patriarch of the Trapp Family Singers. Trapp was the most successful Austro-Hungarian submarine commander of World War I. His first wife Agathe Whitehead died in 1922, leaving behind seven children.
