This series consists of a copy of the Nuremberg Laws captured on April 28, 1945, at Eichstatt, Germany by the 203rd Military Intelligence (CIC) Detachment, III Corps. It was presented by Major General J. A. Van Fleet, Commanding General of the III Corps to General George S. Patton, Jr., Commanding General of the 3rd U.S. Army. It contains the Reich Citizenship Laws of 1935 that include the Citizen Law, the Flag Law, and the Blood Law written in German. It also contains the envelopes they came in, with seals.

George Smith Patton Jr. (November 11, 1885 – December 21, 1945) was a general of the United States Army who commanded the Seventh United States Army in the Mediterranean theater of World War II, and the United States Army Central in France and Germany after the Allied invasion of Normandy in June 1944.
