Broadcast journalist Kojo Nnamdi (1945 - ) has worked as a radio and television show host in the Washington, D.C. area for over forty years. His shows have included WHUT-TV’s “Evening Exchange,” and WAMU-FM’s “The Kojo Nnamdi Show” and “The Politics Hour." Nnamdi was interviewed by The HistoryMakers on 1/30/2014, in Washington, D.C.. This collection is comprised of the video footage of the interview.

Broadcast journalist Kojo Nnamdi was born as Rex Orville Montague Paul on January 8, 1945 in Guyana. He emigrated first to Montreal, Canada in 1967 to attend McGill University, and then to the United States in 1968.Nnamdi first lived in Brooklyn, New York, where he worked on Wall Street and joined the Black Panther Party.
