He worked as an instructor in music at the Washington Conservatory of Music, artist in residence at Bowling Green State University, and assistant professor of composition at the Oberlin Conservatory of Music. Jeffrey Mumford served as instructor in music at the Washington Conservatory of Music, artist in residence at Bowling Green State University, and assistant professor of composition at the Oberlin Conservatory of Music.
