This series consists of copies of outgoing correspondence and memorandums from the U.S. Information Agency's (USIA) Office of Broadcasting Service. The included correspondence and memorandums are confirmations of permission being granted to USIA to use materials from magazine articles and editorials for non-commercial radio and television broadcasts in Europe. Permission was granted for articles such as "The Ultimate Weapon," "The Twentieth Century Farm," and "Universities to Fit Tomorrow's World." These records were maintained by the Office of the General Counsel.
