Thomas Hart Armbruster (born 1958) is a retired American diplomat. He notably served as U.S. Ambassador to the Marshall Islands (2012-2016). Born in El Paso, Texas and raised in Maryland, Armbruster earned a bachelor's degree from McDaniel College in Westminster, Maryland and a Masters Degree in Conflict Resolution from St. Mary's University in San Antonio, Texas.
