The type of records include: environmental assessments; feasibility investigations; finding of no significant impact (FONSI) reports; policies and procedures; replies to requests for information; publications; and technical investigations; as well as graphs, charts, and maps. Specific topics covered may include: coal transport; cultural material recovery; fish and wildlife programs; hazardous waste management; hydroelectric projects; municipal waste generation; natural gas transportation; pollution prevention and abatement; and tidal waves and ocean thermal energy conversion.
