Madeleine Jana Korbel Albright (born Marie Jana Korbelová, May 15, 1937, Prague, Czechoslovakia-died March 23, 2022) is an Czech-born American politician and diplomat who served as the first female United States Secretary of State from 1997 to 2001 under President Bill Clinton.
