John Calvin Reed (b. April 15, 1905, Erie, Pennsylvania-d. May 23, 1993, Columbus, Indiana), geologist and Arctic specialist, received a B.S. from Pennsylvania State College in 1927 and his Ph.D. in Geology from Princeton University in 1930.
