This subgroup of maps and drawings consists of items extracted from the correspondence files or in some cases purchased from private collectors who salvaged them from the company. All maps and drawings relating to right of way and structures have been arranged here, including items from the files of other departments on the grounds that they were originally prepared by the Engineering Department and to put all drawings of a similar type together. Because the drawings are a synthetic collection of fragments, they have been arranged somewhat arbitrarily according to the type of thing depicted.
