Cache County (Utah)

An act passed January 6, 1856, established the boundaries of Cache County in the Utah Territory and authorized a to-be-elected probate judge to organize the county. In 1857 Peter Maughan was elected and proceded with the organization of the county. From then on the new county began to accumulate the records which make up this collection.
