Women's Equity Action League of Massachusetts.
Founded in 1971, Women's Equity Action League of Massachusetts is "committed to the economic development and advancement of Massachusetts women." It sponsors conferences, provides speakers, and establishes networks with other organizations to bring about legislative action to improve women's situation.

WEAL of Massachusetts was convened with chapter status on September 9, 1971, by Vilma Hunt at Pine Manor Junior College. National WEAL merged with the WEAL Fund in 1981; WEAL of Massachusetts became an affiliate in 1983. Although national WEAL dissolved in 1990, WEAL of Massachusetts has remained active.
