Lavender Information and Library Association.
Organization established in 1989 by University of Michigan librarians and information science professionals and students to promote awareness of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender issues within the university libraries and School of Information.
Prior names have been Gay and Lesbian Library Staff (GALLS), Gay and Lesbian Library Association (GALLA), and Bisexual, Gay and Lesbian Library Association (BGALLA).
